9 Liverpool Stars Set To Leave Anfield This Summer

Jurgen Klopp has played down talk of a busy summer at Anfield but there will be a number of players making way

Jurgen Klopp is not predicting a busy summer at Liverpool - although reinforcements are once again expected.

The Reds forked out to land Fabinho and Alisson before the start of this term, while they also finalised a deal for Naby Keita and brought in Xherdan Shaqiri.

A move for Nabil Fekir fell through at the 11th hour with Liverpool still tipped to bring in a playmaker this summer.

Looking ahead to his summer plans, Klopp said recently: "The team is pretty well balanced, so that’s how it is. For sure, our plans are not for the public, that’s how it is.

"But will it be the biggest transfer window of Liverpool? No, probably not, but I think it would have been a surprise if I said yes.

Klopp looks on

“Our eyes are always open, we always look, but what happens if and when, there is nothing to say about in the moment.”

There are players who look certain to leave Anfield this summer with their contracts expiring, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Daniel Sturridge

Will Sturridge land a new Premier League club?

The former England man has worked his way back into Jurgen Klopp's thinking for the start of the season.

He scored a stunner against Chelsea earlier in the season but there has been little to report since then.

Sturridge was given a chance to impress against Huddersfield but didn't take it and it looks as though he will move on with Liverpool keen to free up his wages.

Alberto Moreno

Moreno has barely played this season

Moreno has made just two Premier League appearances this term and continues to play second fiddle to Andy Robertson.

That won't change and a parting of the ways appears inevitable.

A return to Spain is probably on the cards for the left-back.

Bobby Adekanye

Bobby Adekanye is set to leave Liverpool

The 20-year-old has allowed his contract to run down and will leave for nothing.

Adekanye has been linked with Serie A side Lazio as he looks to secure first-team football.

Adam Bogdan

The former Bolton goalkeeper has been on loan at Hibernian.

He has no future at Liverpool and will move on after just a handful of appearances.

Connor Randall

Randall is likely to depart after a brief stint at Rochdale at the start of the season.

He has featured for the Under-23 side since then but will be 24 in October.

Randall is also set to head out this summer

Juanma Garcia

Garcia was snapped up from Barcelona and was tipped for a bright future.

But he is now 22 and is no closer to getting a look in from Jurgen Klopp.

Corey Whelan

The 21-year-old spent time at Crewe this season before returning to Anfield in January.

Whelan is likely to earn a full-time deal in the Football League.

Conor Masterson during training

Conor Masterson

Masterson made the bench against Man City in the Champions League last season.

He has been allowed to let his contract run down although there is reported interest from promoted Norwich.

Edvard Tagseth

The teenage midfielder was hailed by Steven Gerrard during his time with the Under-18s.

But he has struggled with injuries this season and has struggled to get regular game time since then.

On the negative perception of the group and what attracted him, Meshioye said: “I wanted to understand my culture, to know why I am here. Why was I not born in India as a Hindu or in China to embrace their culture and religion? This made me to begin to look within myself to know who I am and I extended this to what I have within my area. I am a firm believer in the Yoruba saying, ‘Animo ni peregun laso’ meaning you add to whatever you have. Air Peace De-board Passenger For Asking Attendant To Translate Safety Instructions To Igbo Because 'He Does Not Speak English'

Iwarah declared that his de-boarding was necessary in a bid to guarantee the safety of its crew and customers and said it would not tolerate an act that would jeopardise safety on any of its flights. A passenger with Air Peace was today de-boarded by the airline over claims that he could not communicate in English during safety briefing. The passenger identified as Mr. Christopher Aniagboso told the cabin crew to translate the safety briefing for passengers in the over-wing exit seats in Igbo language and not English as is the standard. The airline in a statement by its spokesman, Mr. Chris Iwarah, said that other passengers around him offered to translate what was being said in English to him, but he insisted that the crew must brief him in Igbo language. Besides, Iwarah said that efforts to relocate the unruly passenger from his seat to the other proved abortive despite the intervention of the cockpit crew. He, however, said that the passenger who had earlier on May
