Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly interested in a move for Bayern Munich’s forward Robert Lewandowski.
The Merseyside Reds have one of the best attacks in Europe, and there is no surprise that they are giving Man City a run away for their money in the Premier League title race.
They have also progressed to the Final of the Champions League.
The front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino strike fear into any defence, and the Reds’ reported interest in Lewandowski will make the Anfield faithfuls more excited.
It has also been reported that if the Poland international striker is made available for sale this summer, Liverpool head-coach Jurgen Klopp would be interested in him.
Jurgen Klopp worked with the 30-year-old at Dortmund, and there is no doubt that the Polish forward – who has been brilliant for Bayern Munich would be an ideal addition to his squad.
According to The Mirror, Lewandowski has been valued at €66 million (£56.86m) by the CIES Football Observatory.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have agreed on terms with Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, according to Euro United.
The Reds have been linked with Lyon pair Houssem Aouar and Nabil Fekir in the past, however, there is a lot of interest in 22-year-old Ndombele.
The report claims that Tottenham and Juventus have also agreed on terms with Ndombele’s representatives, and Mauricio Pochettino has spoken about an interest in signing the Frenchman.
The 22-year-old has been excellent for Lyon this season having racked up 48 appearances for club and country.
The Frenchman primarily is a defensive midfielder and it will be interesting to see how this story develops in the coming weeks.
Liverpool already have a quality player for that role in Fabinho. The former Monaco star has been excellent in recent weeks and was one of the stars in our 4-0 win over Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final.
The Reds also have several options for the midfield positions, but can also do with more quality coming into the team.
Liverpool have Naby Keita injured at the moment, but he should return next season while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain made his first-team return recently.
Ndombele impressed for the French club in the Champions League and was one of their best players when they defeated Manchester City at the Etihad.
