Single for their own reasons, from the good to the bad. But without anyone telling we all know that it is not at all an easy task staying single under the African clime especially beyond the required age bracket.

These Nigerian Female Celebrities That Are Single are humans in every regard. It is therefore a matter of great pain for them to sometimes read about their lack on blogs by people who just don’t care except for scoring cheap points with other peoples pain.

Marriage is a matter of honour and fulfilment over here in Africa. It is a way of life. A rite everyone must go through. To not be married at a certain age makes you a candidate for some really ugly assumptions.

And celebrity or not they are really feeling the pressure.

10. Yemi Alade

Yemi Alade is arguably the queen of dance songs in Nigeria. Yemi Alade was born Yemi Eberechi Alade on 13th March 1989 to a Yoruba father and Igbo mother.

It is rumoured that she might be dating her manager but still no words from her to affirm that or dismiss it. She is single, thick and beautiful.

She gained prominence after winning the Peak Talent Show in 2009, and is best known for her hit single “Johnny “.

She is the biggest celebrity blogger in Nigeria and Africa at large. With a following that is quite absurd for someone that just writes.

She is a mogul in the media world and just recently gave birth to her first child last week in Atalanta. Linda Ikeji was born Linda Ifeoma Ikeji on 19th September 1980.

Like Genevieve Nnaji she is beautiful and ever young. She also wears the Nollywood crown on her head with no worries.

Rita Dominic had earlier dated Jim Iyke according to major sources. She was born Rita Uchenna Nkem Dominic Nwaturuocha on July 12, 1975.

She is a member of the Royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State.

She attended University of Port Harcourt , where she graduated with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999. In 1998 she starred in her first movie, A Time to Kill .

She is a Nigerian actress, television personality, producer, business woman, philanthropist and former model .

The actress was married to British born Roderick James Nuttal, her husband of 12 years. They separated in 2011. Their marriage broke up over accusations and counter accusations of infidelity.

She is therefore a woman with kids who has refused to remarry.

She was one of those few Nigerian celebrity actors that I had a crush on as a young child growing up. She is still beautiful and a excellent actor no matter the standard.

Akintola was born on May 5, 1970, to a father from Oyo State and a mother from Edo State. Her debut acting was when she featured in the film OWO BLOW in 1995 alongside Femi Adebayo and followed up with Out of Bounds in 1997 with Richard Mofe Damijo.

While speaking to the punch she said:

“Of course, I can. Definitely I can do it because I don’t see anything wrong with it. Thing are changing in the world at large. If you look around, you would find a lot of women are having babies and taking care of themselves. It’s everywhere.

Air Peace De-board Passenger For Asking Attendant To Translate Safety Instructions To Igbo Because 'He Does Not Speak English'

Iwarah declared that his de-boarding was necessary in a bid to guarantee the safety of its crew and customers and said it would not tolerate an act that would jeopardise safety on any of its flights. A passenger with Air Peace was today de-boarded by the airline over claims that he could not communicate in English during safety briefing.
