How Man Utd Could Line Up On First Day Of Next Season With Six New Signings - And No Pogba

MANCHESTER UNITED are primed to spend big this summer in order to give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a flying start next season.

Manchester United have been stuck in a rut under Solskjaer ever since the 46-year-old steered them past PSG and into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Their struggles on the pitch have highlighted the need to recruit shrewdly this summer, with the Red Devils a shadow of their former selves.

Plenty of incomings - as well as outgoings - are expected at Manchester United with the club eager to reel in Manchester City and Liverpool at the summit of the English game.

Jan Oblak could be among them, with the Atletico Madrid star earmarked as the club’s top choice to replace David De Gea.

De Gea is stalling on a new United contract and, with no breakthrough in sight, a parting of the ways could be on the cards.

Oblak would likely start next season as the Red Devils’ No 1 goalkeeper, despite having Sergio Romero in reserve.

At right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is in their sights.

The youngster has had a great season at Crystal Palace and, with Antonio Valencia leaving, United want a transfer.

He is their top choice to replace Valencia and reports have claimed a deal may be struck for £40million.

Victor Lindelof would likely start at centre-back but he may have a new partner.

Solskjaer wants United to sign a defender - just like Jose Mourinho did a year ago - and Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld can be snared for just £25million.

The Belgian would provide some much-needed experience to Solskjaer’s backline and would be a bargain buy, allowing money to be spent elsewhere.

Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay are expected to be regulars next season. McTominay’s fine form means Solskjaer may even promote him next term.

And the youngster could be playing alongside Toni Kroos, rather than Paul Pogba.

Solskjaer would supposedly like to land the Real Madrid star if Pogba manages to push through a move to the Bernabeu.

And Real may be willing to sell given how much Zinedine Zidane wants the United star.

Bruno Fernandes is leading the charge to replace Ander Herrera, with reports suggesting the Red Devils were accelerating their pursuit.

On the right wing, Jadon Sancho is Solskjaer’s No 1 target.

Borussia Dortmund have insisted the England international will not be going anywhere but United’s financial muscle could see that change.

Dortmund have proven to be a selling club in the past and, if United come in with a £100million bid, that may be enough to entice them to sell.

Sancho would then play on the right with Marcus Rashford in the middle and Anthony Martial on the left.

Man Utd predicted team in full (4-3-3): Oblak, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Alderweireld, Shaw, McTominay, Fernandes, Kroos, Sancho, Martial, Rashford.

Air Peace De-board Passenger For Asking Attendant To Translate Safety Instructions To Igbo Because 'He Does Not Speak English'

Iwarah declared that his de-boarding was necessary in a bid to guarantee the safety of its crew and customers and said it would not tolerate an act that would jeopardise safety on any of its flights. A passenger with Air Peace was today de-boarded by the airline over claims that he could not communicate in English during safety briefing. The passenger identified as Mr. Christopher Aniagboso told the cabin crew to translate the safety briefing for passengers in the over-wing exit seats in Igbo language and not English as is the standard. The airline in a statement by its spokesman, Mr. Chris Iwarah, said that other passengers around him offered to translate what was being said in English to him, but he insisted that the crew must brief him in Igbo language. Besides, Iwarah said that efforts to relocate the unruly passenger from his seat to the other proved abortive despite the intervention of the cockpit crew. He, however, said that the passenger who had earlier on May
