Former Arsenal star Jose Antonio Reyes has been killed in a car crash in Spain.

The 35-year-old was involved in a serious car accident, his former club Sevilla announced.

"We couldn't be confirming worse news. Beloved Sevilla star José Antonio Reyes has died in a traffic collision. Rest in peace," the La Liga club announced.

Reyes spent three seasons at Arsenalbetween 2004 and 2007, having arrived halfway through the club's Invincibles season.

Reyes also enjoyed spells with Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid ans Espanyol.

He won 21 caps for Spain and was playing for second-tier Extremadura last term.

Iwarah declared that his de-boarding was necessary in a bid to guarantee the safety of its crew and customers and said it would not tolerate an act that would jeopardise safety on any of its flights. A passenger with Air Peace was today de-boarded by the airline over claims that he could not communicate in English during safety briefing.
